The hotel is just steps from the lake with excellent bus access to the city. However, the reception closes early, presenting challenges for late arrivals.

The breakfast was a delightful surprise, featuring

freshly baked goods from the hotel’s own baking school. It was a treat to enjoy delicious pastries while overlooking the lovely lake. However, be prepared for a trek to the main city center, as there are limited local dining options near the hotel.

The staff at Richemont Hotel were exceptionally helpful, always greeting me with warmth. I especially enjoyed the delightful bakery section, offering freshly baked breads and delectable pastries that made my mornings enjoyable.

Comfortable room, delightful breakfast, as well as an excellent location just steps from the lake made this stay thoroughly enjoyable while being easily accessible by bus from the main station.

Rooms feel like dormitories with sparse decor!!! No coffee machines or water pots in the room, and the lift closes early, making heavy luggage a hassle!!! Some better investment in furnishings could really enhance the experience!!!

I stayed in a Single Room for 1 night. The room was basic but super clean, which was a big win. The shower was really good too. Just a heads up, reception closes at 5, so if you arrive later, you have to manage by yourself with a key box. No lift either, so yeah, heavy bags are a hassle. But it was comfy enough for a night and you can’t beat the breakfast, especially the weekend spread with smoked salmon and eggs.

The Richemont Hotel offers a spacious double room, though the bed could be more comfortable. While the restaurant serves a fantastic breakfast, not having a kettle in the room was a bit inconvenient. The location near the lake made it easy to explore, just a short bus ride to the city center.
